It’s official, Io Shirai will leave Stardom on June 17th. Io will team with Mayu Iwatani in a Thunder Rock reunion against Kagetsu and Hazuki from Oedo Tai in her final match.
Io will presumably enter this year’s Mae Young Classic and join NXT afterwards.
According to multiple sources WWE is also targeting other Stardom talent. It is not yet clear whether these are actual Stardom roster members or gaijin, but it is said that they are wrestlers who would have been competing in this year’s 5 Star Grand Prix.
