Mayu Iwatani’s match with Toni Storm today was ended after two minutes when Mayu missed a dropkick and rolled to the outside in pain. She was stretchered out and went via ambulance to hospital. Unfortunately she has been diagnosed with a dislocated elbow and will be out of action for some months.
待ってて pic.twitter.com/iCJA6kbZuu

Toni Storm was declared the winner and becomes the World of Stardom champion. Toni Storm was upset after the match and said she did not want to win the Red Belt and wants to battle Mayu again for the belt in the future.
It is unclear whether the plan was for Toni Storm to win the belt today, though with Toni’s current Stardom tour coming to an end pretty soon this seems unlikely.
Our thoughts and best wishes go to Mayu Iwatani and we wish her a speedy recovery.
