Io Shirai made an appearance at a Stardom show over the weekend and announced she will return to Stardom on August 13th at Korakuen Hall. She also announced that she will enter the 5★ Grand Prix.
Io will be back at the next Korakuen Hall show on Aug 13! And she just entered herself in the 2017 5 Star Gran Prix tournament!

The circumstances of Io’s return are currently unclear, with many people assuming she had already signed with WWE and was due to enter the Mae Young Classic before WWE doctors discovered an injury. Whether the contract still stands and Io is back in Stardom temporarily or if she has signed a new Stardom contract is unknown. Hopefully we get some answers over the coming days.
